Music Background
“Welcome 1993 was a very big deal. A New Years dance party birthed a deep passion for electronic music that tunnelled underground, every spare cent spent on records, every spare second learning to mix."
A New Years dance party in 1993 sparked Christian’s deep passion for electronic music. It led him underground, to warehouse parties, clubs and outdoor music festivals in what was a golden age in the Australian electronic music scene. Countless hours on dance floors listening to skilled and creative local and international DJs rubbed off. Before long, inspired and respectful, he spent every spare cent hunting down records, every spare second learning to mix.
A dream job at Sydney's iconic Central Station records followed, his musical depth and appreciation expanding so that today Christian is as comfortable in playing a Sunday afternoon chill session as he is leading a yoga dance party, or a banging 2 am party dance floor.
You catch Christian Djing in many of Sydney's excellent venues such as Coogee Pavilion, Slims Rooftop, The Tilbury Hotel, The Royal Hotel Bondi, The Beach Road Hotel and many more.
